Welcome

Pull up a chair— never mind, I’m sure you already have one.  Then get a cup of coffee or tea and let’s get acquainted.  I write what I love and love to write.  If you’re not familiar with my genre I have some articles that will help explain it.

Lets start with M&M’s.  I love them; most everyone does, but they’re not very sensual.  I consider them to be a quick energy boost.  The sort of thing you go for when you’re short on time, but are desperate for chocolate.  It doesn’t melt in your hand, no mess, no fuss and satisfying.

More time and more content with the chocolate bar.  However, nothing fancy, no frills, but it takes longer to consume.  They’re great on s’mores and often leave you wanting some more, which is the problem with a chocolate bar.  You’re satisfied, but there’s not a lot of depth to it.

Time to linger.  The truffle.  Pull those tantalizing ends and your mouth begins to water as the wrapper opens.  The chocolate is waiting inside with its hard outside and soft inside.  It has layers to it.  This is not something to pop in the mouth and consume quickly.  No, you bite slowly and let the first taste melt on your tongue.  A true chocolate lover will close their eyes and savor the mix of textures and flavors.  This a treat that takes time to finish and leaves you satisfied.

True decadence deserves the gold box.   This comes in a variety of sizes and flavors.  Some like to get the box and merely stare at it for hours before opening it.  When looking at the variety inside it can be overwhelming as to where to start.  Each treat is a new experience to be relished and lingered over.  This box is only recommended for the very experienced chocolate lovers and only if you have time to enjoy the pleasure it will bring.  This is best served with champagne or mimosas.

Chocoholic Spa Treatment.  Personally, I’ve never tried this, but I’ve heard about it.  Total chocolate immersion and body wraps.  Not for the faint of heart and the inexperienced.  This is for the woman that needs to be drowned in chocolate from the outside-in.  One can only imagine.

I believe all my characters enjoy M&M’s from time to time.  Hey, they’re on the run from the psycho and time is a commodity.  They tell me though, that their preference is a good truffle.  Now they all argue over the flavor, but that’s a personal preference and their personality.  I try to please them, but some of them are never happy.

I hope this helps you understand what the sensual stands for.

What do you mean a Thriller is Sensuous?

Okay, so I realized some people were confused when my friend at work asked what it meant.  “Does it have romance in it?  Is it erotica?”  The more I tried to explain the more confused she got.  Of course, in my defense she doesn’t read romance or non-fiction.  She likes self-help books.  So, time to put it in terms everyone can understand – Chocolate.
